At Westcliff Pottery, Barry makes and decorates sculptural and traditional ceramic forms, following a potter’s tradition of using simple, locally found materials.

The results, however, are by no means simple with a wide variety of surface textures and subtle colours obtained by mixing local clays, granite and ash fired in an electric kiln. These unique ceramics are informed by contemporary Studio and Japanese pottery and inspired by the Cornish coast and the Fowey River.
