Brown Sugar is a bright, sunny cafe nestled in the heart of Fowey, just opposite the church.

Run for the past eight years by local girl Tania Daniel, we sell a wide range of drinks, snacks, sandwiches and meals, to eat in or take away. Most of our produce is locally sourced from Fowey Fish and elsewhere in Cornwall from Tregothnan Teas, Rodda Cream and Boddingtons Jam. We also serve an all-Cornish cream tea.

Open from 8am-5pm, this is where you’ll find the earliest cup of coffee in Fowey – the award winning Origin coffee comes from sustainable farms overseas but is roasted here in Cornwall.

As well as a range of home–made cakes, we can also cater for gluten and dairy free customers.

Brown Sugar is set over two floors, and offers colouring books for children as well as baby changing facilities. It also has a wheelchair for use by visitors – this can be borrowed by enquiring in the Tourist Information Office opposite.

Sorry, but we are not able to accept dogs.
