I live at Nanscawen Manor House and invite a few paying guests to share my home with me. Nanscawen Manor House is a large country house in Cornwall, two miles from the south coast and about four miles from St Austell and with the amazing Eden Project just 2 miles further up the road.

Nanscawen Manor House offers the unique opportunity to stay in an exclusive, luxurious establishment. The Manor House dates from the 14th century and has an interesting history.

All bedrooms overlook the South aspect of the property and enjoy a view of the garden looking towards the beautiful Luxulyan valley.

The Rashleigh bedroom has a large hand carved English oak 4 poster and a superior mattress hand made in Ireland.

From the pool side you can look across and see the world famous Gribben Head, a landmark which reminds us of how close we are to the romantic Cornish coastline. After a hard day’s sightseeing you are welcome to take a swim or jump into the hot tub situated alongside the pool.

Whilst enjoying your breakfast in the Victorian Style Conservatory you will be surrounded by an assortment of exotic plants. A full English breakfast is on offer or you may choose to sample some locally smoked salmon (from historic Charlestown) with scrambled egg. Or try fruit yoghurt, fresh fruit juices and freshly baked croissants, served with as much tea or coffee as you can drink.
