Julia Cooper imageOpen Studios Cornwall 2014 runs from Sat 24th May – Sun 1st June.Now in it’s tenth year, this annual event sees artists and craftspeople throwing open the doors to their studios for a week.


There are hundreds of venues all over Cornwall and each is clearly indicated by a Cornwall Open Studios sign – so look out for the orange symbol. Opening times vary and not all participants exhibit for the whole week, so check before you visit.


Two of Fowey’s artists will be inviting you to see their work at home.


Julia Cooper finds inspiration for her abstract oil paintings on worn surfaces such as fractured rock, harbour walls, crumbling masonry and weathered hulls.


Daughter Jane Cooper is a painter, creating powerful and atmospheric, impressionist mountain landscapes in oil. Paintings from £200.
